Ibadan Life is a free browser game for players aged 16 and over. This page explains what we store about you and why.
What we store
- Your Google sign-in: your email address and Google account ID, so you can log back in. We never see your Google password.
- Your character: the username and look you choose.
- Your game progress: in-game money, needs, home and furniture, job, businesses, company, bets, savings, and a history of your in-game transactions.
- Private messages you send to other players, so both of you can read them later.
- Reports: if someone reports something you said, the reported text is saved for moderators.
What other players can see
- Your username and character's look.
- What you say in public chat at a location, to everyone who is there at that moment. Public chat is not saved by us.
- Your in-game net worth and position on the "Big Money" list.
- Any company you own, and any billboard message you rent.
Other players never see your email address.
What we do not do
- We do not sell your data.
- We do not take payment details. In-game naira has no real-world value and cannot be bought, withdrawn or sold.
- We do not use advertising trackers.
Where it is kept
Game data is stored with Supabase, our database provider. Sign-in is handled by Google. Moderators can read reported messages, and may read private messages when investigating abuse.
Sponsored apps and links
Some apps on the in-game phone are sponsored and open websites outside the game. Those sites have their own privacy rules. We count how many times a sponsored app is opened, not who opened it.
Deleting your data
To have your account and everything attached to it deleted, contact us at evansyisa55@gmail.com from the email address you sign in with.
Changes
If this page changes in a way that matters, we will say so in the game.
