The game

Ibadan Life is a free, browser-based multiplayer life simulation set in Ibadan, the city of brown roofs. You arrive with a little money (or a little debt), find your feet, work, eat, pay rent, furnish your place and meet everybody else doing the same. Real districts and landmarks, made-up businesses, and no download.

Timeline

Work on Ibadan Life began in October 2026. The first public version opened to friends on 6 October 2026. Every change since then is listed on the Updates page.
